Help with testing v1.10?

Hi, i'm struggling with getting 1.10 to run on Zero. It seems to boot, but
there is no frame buffer (HDMI) console output at all. I have added
"console=tty1" to cmdline.txt but this doesn't help. Is HDMI output
disabled by default in this version? It this is the case - how to enable
it?
