Sure you can. Cron works normally. There is no limits. Add your cron table 
into:
  nard/platform/my_prodyct/fs-template/var/spool/cron/crontabs/
The name of the file represents the user. By default there is one for root. If 
you need to execute your command as root; copy the default crontab into your 
custom product and modify it. It will then override the default.
